Hi. I’m Sarah. I make complicated software behave.

I build the systems other engineers avoid.

Dense data. Weird workflows. Internal tools with twelve kinds of state and no room for hand-waving. I turn that mess into fast, inspectable systems across TypeScript, Python, Go, and Rust—with interfaces people can actually operate.

RiskLab is where I publish the reusable infrastructure: four open-source TypeScript packages for advanced UI, charts, styling, and icons. No commercial “pro” tier, no locked analytical components, and no framework religion—just typed packages built to ship.

Former Meta Reality Labs engineer. Principal-level platform builder. Near Seattle. Correctly dramatic about bad UI.

The public lab

RiskLab is the toolbox I wanted on the last five complicated projects.

Four focused TypeScript packages for serious analytical software: inspectable, composable, and useful enough to ship.

Published on npm Apache 2.0 React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Lit and Solid

What I care about

Calm screens. Honest data. No mystery meat.

I care about traceable state, fast feedback, good empty states, and interfaces that explain what just happened. If the operator has to guess, the software is not done.

Inside the lab

Explore the system from the angle you need.

Got a hard interface problem?

If the workflow is messy, the data is dense, and the easy answers already failed, we should talk.

I’m interested in Staff and Principal engineering work where systems architecture, production judgment, and excellent interfaces all matter. Find me on LinkedIn.
